Founded in 1945, the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI) is an international organization composed of industry-leading medical illustrators, related professionals, and students of medical illustration. The AMI promotes the study and advancement of medical illustration and allied fields of visual communication, and strives to promote understanding and cooperation with the medical and related health science professions.

Medical Illustrators' 63rd Annual Meeting in Indianapolis

Medical Illustrators' 63rd Annual Meeting in Indianapolis Offers Insight into Medical Illustration, Animation, and Bio-Science Illustration Techniques for Educators, Allied Health Professionals, Visual Artists, as well as area Illustrators.

Indianapolis, Indiana - A unique opportunity for the general public to view the striking work of medical artists and for illustration professionals to further develop their skills will be presented when the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI) kicks off its 63rd annual conference in Indianapolis from July 16-20, 2008.

The annual Salon is an opportunity for professional and student members of the AMI to submit and view the finest in medical and biological visualization. Awards of Excellence and Certificates of Merit are awarded in 12 professional and eight student categories.

The 2007 AMI Salon winning illustrations provided below are copyrighted material. Permission is given here for use of these illustrations by the press in articles or other news reports. Images may not be sold and may not be used in materials for sale without express written permission from the artist. Each use should be accompanied by the credit line listed with the image.
